By using JMaths, you're agreeing to these terms and the Privacy Policy. It's nothing out of the ordinary. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
This is an IB Maths platform I built as a teacher. It's run as an individual project, not a registered company.
Only schools and teachers can sign up. If you're a student, your school or teacher sets up your account.
Keep your password secure. One account per person. You're responsible for all activity on your account.
Students under 13: Your school needs permission from your parents for you to use JMaths.
Keep your password secure. Don't share course materials outside of class. Be respectful to others. Don't do anything illegal or try to break the site.
If you break these rules, your account can be suspended or deleted.
Course materials on JMaths: I created them, I own them. You can use them for learning and teaching, but don't redistribute or sell them.
Your work (assignments, etc): You own it. By uploading it, you let me store and display it so your teacher can grade it.
Exploration ideas you upload: You own them. By uploading to the library, you're letting me share the idea with other teachers and students on the platform.
IB stuff: IB curriculum references belong to the International Baccalaureate Organization. I use them under fair use for education.
Some features may be available for free with limited functionality. I might change what's free at any time.
No refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you keep access until your current period ends. If there's a billing error or technical problem, use the contact form.
If your payment fails, your access might be suspended. Update your payment info to restore access.
I might change prices, but I'll give you 30 days notice.

I can't guarantee the site will never go down. I might need to do scheduled maintenance or take the site offline temporarily to fix issues.
I run this by myself, so if something breaks, it might take a while to fix.

JMaths is a teaching tool: Your teachers make the final decisions on grades and curriculum. JMaths just helps organize things.
No guarantees: The site is provided "as is." I can't promise it's 100% error-free or that it'll meet every IB standard perfectly. I do my best, but stuff happens.
Not responsible for: Lost data, bad grades, site downtime, or other problems beyond my control. Back up your important work!
I might update these occasionally. If I make big changes, I'll email you. If you keep using JMaths after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.
