Multiply out two brackets four ways: split the first bracket, arrows, a grid and an area model, and see they give the same answer.

Multiply out single brackets and simplify. Take care with a minus sign in front of a bracket.
Use a decimal multiplier to increase or decrease an amount by a percentage, including one change after another.
Work backwards from an amount after a percentage change to the original amount. Find the multiplier, then divide by it.
Find the highest common factor and the lowest common multiple of two numbers from their prime factorisations.
Use a number's prime factorisation to count its factors and to spot square and cube numbers.
Write a number as a product of its prime factors using a factor tree. Give the answer in index form, like 2ยณ ร 3 ร 5.

Write expressions for the perimeter and area of shapes whose sides are given in letters, then use them to find a missing side.
Multiply and divide algebraic terms and collect like terms, using the index laws.
Replace the letters in an expression or formula with numbers, including negatives, decimals and powers, and work out its value.
Solve linear equations, including ones with brackets and a negative number of x.
Find the nth term rule for a sequence that goes up or down by the same amount each time.
Find missing terms when the terms you are given are not next to each other, and compare a sequence with a rule you already know.
A second pass at nth term rules, this time with terms written in algebra.
Find the lowest common multiple by listing multiples, and use it to solve problems about things that repeat.
Use a map scale to turn a measured length into a real distance, and find the scale factor between two similar shapes.
Use the index laws with numbers, and find a missing power or a missing base.
A third pass at nth term rules. Aim to do these without your notes.
Split a compound shape into rectangles to find its area and perimeter, with sides given in letters.
A second pass at perimeter and area in algebra, ending with forming an equation from the area of a rectangle.
Add, subtract, multiply and divide with negative numbers, including finding a missing number.
Work calculations in the right order, with powers, brackets and negative numbers.
Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, and simplify using the highest common factor.
A second pass at fraction arithmetic, with fractions on scales and in proportion problems.
Move between fractions, decimals and percentages, and find the original amount from a percentage of it.
Percentage change and reverse percentages together, with a calculator and without.
Turn a worded problem or a shape into an equation, then solve it.
Use the index laws with letters: multiplying, dividing and a power of a power.
A mixed set from the whole year. Start with the topics where you were sure and got it wrong.
